Poster celebrating 12 years of DFA Records, showing members of LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, The Rapture, Black Dice, and more. Created by Hisham Akira Bharoocha (of Black Dice and Lightning Bolt) for Red Bull Music Academy New York in 2013. As shown, there are some creases and small tears in the heavy-stock paper as well as a small stain on the “D.” None of these are glaring when the poster is framed and displayed, but I’ve priced this very rare item accordingly. Poster is 24” tall by 18” wide and will be carefully rolled for shipping. An awesome time capsule of the “Meet Me in the Bathroom” era of the NYC rock/electronica/electro dance music scene. This poster says “I WAS THERE when James Murphy DJed and lectured about his Tolkien influences.”
