    Description

    This is a rare Goodyear Tires Road Rescue Weather Radio. It is from the 1960's or early '70's and was a Goodyear tire advertising promotional give-away. There is 1 on/off button, 1 volume knob, 1 fine tuning knob and 1 extendable antenna. The label on the top has the classic Goodyear logo and the phrase, "Instant Weather". The battery compartment is clean. Testing with a 9V battery turned it on & off. We initially listened for music and heard none, mostly static. Now we know that this is a weather radio and tunes only into the National Radio Service on a few stations.
