Up for bids is a 1 1/2" wide by 4" long empty front striker matchbook from the 1930-40s Era Gas / Oil service station (Not sure where though) with advertising for Goodyear Lifeguard tires- The brightly colored cover reads: "Good Year Lifeguards Main St. Service Station Easy Pay Tire Store Phone 199" inset on front and features a real photo image of an old fashioned Model T style car wrecked and turned upside down and reads: "Lifeguards Prevent Blowout Accidents. Tire Explodes; Two Killed" on back and has info captioned: "Modern Successor to the Inner Tube" on the inside-Striker intact-A neat vintage item in great condition with minor wear only. Postage on this item is $ 2.95.
